Fiona Sussan, MBA, PhD is currently a Professor of Marketing at Toyo University, Japan. Her research portfolio includes management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and tourism. She obtained her MBA and PhD from City University of New York. Her publications appeared in International Marketing Review (ABDC A ranked and Q1), Journal of Business Research (ABDC A ranked and Q1), Small Business Economics (ABDC A ranked and Q1), among others. Her research has received awards from Emerald, American Marketing Association, and others. She has conducted research and published with students in the US and Japan at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.

John, a devoted family man, has enjoyed a fulfilling marriage of over 30 years and is the proud father of two wonderful daughters. His academic achievements include a Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration from the esteemed Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Driven by his passion for learning, John actively engages with MENSA, a renowned society for individuals with exceptional intellectual abilities. Through his diverse professional and military experiences, he has had the privilege of traveling to more than 136 countries and territories while residing on three continents. Recognized as a trailblazer in the field of travel risk management, John’s expertise has propelled him to the forefront of the discipline. Additionally, his doctoral research focused on M&A integration, positioning him as a sought-after academic and consultant for numerous institutions. With his profound insights and strategic guidance, he has successfully assisted countless organizations.
