Purpose
Please read this statement along with the ‘Other Terms and Conditions’. This statement explains how Australian Academy of Business Research (AABR) manages your personal information for training purposes. As privacy laws are different all around the world, as an Australian entity, we will be governed by Australian privacy laws. By submitting your abstract/full paper to our conference, you agree with our privacy policy. If you choose not to provide some information, we may not be able to provide you with some services.
What Information Do We Collect?
AABR will collect personal information relevant to the conference you are participating. This may include your name and contact details, educational history, and professional affiliations.
How does AABR collect your personal information?
Most personal information about you will be collected from you directly when you enter your personal information into AABR’s online enrolment portal. Categories of personal data we collect are

II. Gender
III. Date of birth
IV. Postal address (can be a postal box number and/or a street address)
V. Telephone number/s (mobile and landline)
VI. Identity document (such as passport or driver’s license) number
VII. Educational history
VIII. Any other relevant information for employment purposes, such as LinkedIn profile, Facebook profile, next of kin, immigration status and work right, bank account details.
Form of Collection
AABR collects your personal information directly from you when you provide it to us. It will always be collected in electronic format.
How does AABR use your personal information?
AABR will use your personal information primarily for administering a conference. AABR may also use your personal information as part of providing specific services to you by our partner agencies, for example PayPal and accommodation providers.
Who we share your data with?
Your personal information will be stored in a secured encrypted and password protected file which will not be accessible by anybody outside AABR. We may share your personal information as part of providing specific services to you by our partner agencies, for example travel agent, accommodation providers. We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or with legal process to protect our interest or an individual’s personal safety.
How long we retain your data?
AABR will safely store your personal data as long as is necessary for the original purpose of collection or as required by law. At the end of the intended retention period, your data will be completely deleted.
Credit/Debit Card details
We do not store customer credit card details. To be able to make a secure payment to us, you will provide your credit card information to a third party, such as PayPal.
Marketing
We may use your personal information to notify you about our products and/or services. You can opt-out from any such communications.
Media
By attending our conferences, you agree that your image may be captured in still and motion picture (video) and such image and video may be posted on the conference website and/or social media. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
